The Word of God

Thevit Christian School students love God, so they memorize and recite the Word of God every day. Their most priority in life is to live out the Word. Students read aloud the God-breathed Scripture as worship to enable the Word to rule over our thoughts and mind. Through Bible reading and havruta, students learn the Scripture in depth and build a biblical worldview through active discussion.

Restoration

When we encounter God, we understand our true identity and mission that we are called to love others with the heart of God. During Quiet Time, students personally meet God through the Word, and their sinful and broken characters are restored through Jesus Christ. They learn to obey like Jesus. In Little Jesus class, students learn about the inspiring people who set the example of faith. They also internalize our school values - honesty, responsibility, and servant leadership - by practicing them within the community.

Understanding & Cooperation

Because Jesus loved us first, we also learn to understand and love others, and train ourselves to live in community. The Student Council enables everyone to participate in building a school community that pleases God. Students have their own job to develop stewardship and discuss how to fill community needs. As they work towards a common goal, they learn to communicate and cooperate in accordance with their gifts. Furthermore, they share the love of Jesus with their neighbors in the local community.

Thinking Innovatively

We provide a variety of experiences to find out God's purpose for creating each of us, and to discover their talents. Based on Montessori education, elementary students use different hands-on materials to experience knowledge and to develop the necessary skills(communication, thinking, and creativity) to utilize acquired information. Students learn creative problem-solving skills through theme-based interdisciplinary instruction, projects, and field trips. We offer English immersion classes using GrapeSEED and Bob Jones University Press curriculum to prepare students with English communication skills to go all over the world.

Holy Witness

Our mission is to advance the kingdom of God. We love the people and the world with God’s love and live to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth. Our Cross Camp, held every beginning of the school year, follows the footsteps of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Korea's evangelism and we remind ourselves of our resolution to live and die for the gospel. On Easter, we go out on the streets and share the love of Jesus that he showed on the cross.
